The Narrators Ep. 94: Hutch Harris, “Clone-a-Willy & The Best Night” (NSFW)

HutchHarris

In honor of our upcoming 6th anniversary show, here’s a story that was told last year at our 5th anniversary by musician and comedian Hutch Harris. You probably know him best as the lead singer of the band The Thermals, who will be releasing their new album entitled “We Disappear” later this month. Fair warning—while almost all of our podcasts have explicit language and many deal with adult themes, this one takes that to another level, so you might want to shoo away any children listening right now. This story was recorded live at our 5th anniversary special on 18 March 2015; the theme of the evening was “Symbiosis.”

Next week is gonna be huge! Our Denver show is celebrating is 6th anniversary on Wednesday, 16 March at 7:00pm (not our usual 8:00pm—spread the word!) at Buntport Theater. We’re flying in Robert Rutherford from San Diego and show creator Andrew Orvedahl will be there, along with a menagerie of show favorites including Nancy Norton, Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald, Nathan Lund, Karla Rodriguez, a special surprise guest and many more. We’ll have music from DJ Gonda and who knows else will happen—it’s gonna be a party.

And then, on Saturday, March 19th, The Narrators San Diego will be launching a brand new show called Moment of Truth, where storytellers will tell improvised stories based on themes selected by the audience. This is a special collaboration with Finest City Improv and we look forward to seeing you there at 7pm. For tickets and more information, visit FinestCityImprov.com.
