Things to do in Denver in June and July for nerds, geeks and Denver Comic Con fans
Denver Comic Con is coming — this weekend, as a matter of fact. Ashley’s off today, so instead of the standard Things to Do post, here’s a whole host of nerdy things to do in Denver for the next couple of weeks. Denver Comic Con is June 30-July 2, and you can find tickets and information on that right here. The rest of these events do not require Comic Con tickets, and many are recurring events to please Denver geeks.

Fri., June 30
The Nerd Roast of Batman, Comedy RoomRoom at El Charrito, 2100 Larimer St., Denver. Featuring Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Bane, Riddler, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Catwoman, Batgirl, Robin and Alfred. 7 p.m.
Fri., July 7
Lucha Libre and Laughs, The Oriental Theater, W 44th Ave. Denver. With the Left Coast Guerrillas against the Handicapped Heroes, Royce Isaacs against Darin Corbin and Lonnie Valdez against Caleb Crush. Commentary by Nathan Lund and Sam Tallent. $10. 8 p.m.
